Marking the newest Lumix G Micro System is Panasonic’s Lumix DMC GF1 camera which the company says to be the world’s smallest and lightest system camera. This product is packed with advanced functions set to meet superior quality images. It uses the Four Thirds System standard. It has a slimmer body with the removal of the mirror box and optical viewfinder units. The new design and reduced size did not compromise the ability of this camera to capture superb images.
It may look quite similar to a DSL camera on the peripheral but wait until you find out what it is capable of. It has a 12.1 live CMOS sensor setup providing highest level of quality shots with lower power consumption. It has a wide selection of options to facilitate smooth taking of images – AF Tracking, Face Recognition, Face Detection, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent Scene Selector, Mega Optical Image Stabilizer and Intelligent ISO Control.
The Lumix DMC GF1 camera has a built-in flash body, my color mode, Live View and optional View Finder. It also produces HD videos in AVCHD Lite format with longer recording time.
