The Boeing 787 Dreamliner Airplanes has brought a whole new meaning to airline transportation in this generation of ours. The latest jetliner with a capacity of 200 – 300 passengers is the latest state-of-the-art development of Boeing engineers and designers.
Conventional aircrafts in the past have received several face lifts with each new model being launched. Boeing 787 Dreamliner is thought as a far-fetched “dream” but soon became a reality. The vision of making a commercial aircraft with improved cabin layout, having the largest windows ever to be used and having environment friendly LED lighting and composite materials for most of its body parts have all been achieved in this airliner.
Boeing 787 first flight is going to be such a memorable experience especially with window glass that is made even more sophisticated with its dim feature that brings so much ease to any traveler. Aside from these, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner has engines that are fuel-efficient, it has lightweight aluminum alloy materials and much improved landing gears design and functionality.
This airliner is set to take its pilot commercial flight in 2010 while successful flight tests have been conducted as early as this year until next year.
