The Best of CES 2010 Awards for Smartphones went to Motorola backflip Android smartphone during the recently concluded CES event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This latest Motorola phone outbid other models present during the consumer electronics gathering of the best manufacturers, carrier companies, retailers and technology providers among many others. Let us know some of the features of this smartphone that got the nod of the CES people.

The Motorola backflip Android smartphone has a 3.1 inch touchscreen with 5 megapixel camera. It has qwerty keyboard, WiFi enabled, has Bluetooth and quadband. Sounds plain to you? This device is worth all the talk being another Android run smartphone of Motorola but possesses a rather interesting design. It got its backflip term from the fact that it opens up like a laptop. The qwerty keyboard is exposed at the back and is automatically activated once properly opened.

On this position, user can work on some applications, compose messages and the likes. It also has a table-top position option wherein the phone sets to either a calendar, a clock or display weather forecast or also serves as a viewing screen for pictures via slideshow. Initial reports said that it will be released on Android 1.5 version ready for upgrade to Android 2.1.

Information about its US carriers is not yet confirmed along with any price ranges. This Motorola android smartphone is definitely the next level of smartphone standards that will be watched for by its competition and consumers as well.
